A space you can trust.

Tend saves your email, username and account preferences. Email accounts use a salted password hash; Tend does not store your readable password. Google and Apple handle their own passwords.

Your practice

We store each session’s game, exact prompt version, submitted ideas, their order and timing, your chosen idea and reflection, activity metrics and garden growth. This lets you revisit your thinking and follow your progress. Device-reported idea times and server receipt times are recorded separately.

Editing or removing an idea from a session preserves its original submission and revision history in your account data and export. These records are removed when you delete your account.

Your submitted ideas are private to your account. Future group features will require a separate sharing choice. A local recovery copy may remain on your device while changes are waiting to sync.

Optional research

Research participation starts off. If you opt in under Your space, Tend may study your answers, timing and progress to understand how people generate and develop ideas. Research extracts exclude email and username. Written answers can still contain identifying details, so avoid including information you don’t want recorded.

Signing up is not research consent. You can withdraw at any time; this stops future research extracts. This setting does not authorize sale of your answers, third-party sharing or use in external model training.

Accounts and service providers

Your selected login provider handles Google or Apple sign-in. Our email delivery provider processes your email address and account verification, password-reset or deletion messages. We use essential cookies to keep you signed in and protect your account.

Your choices

You can export your account and practice records, adjust research consent, or request account deletion in Your space. Deletion requires confirmation by email and removes the account’s live practice records. Copies in protected backups expire according to the backup retention policy.
